Your New ES90 comes with bi-directional charging, providing power to your home during peak hours or acting as a backup in case of a blackout. It can also help balance the power grid by storing surplus renewable energy or selling it back when demand is high.

Bi-directional charging is starting to roll out in selected markets. It has the potential to power your home, run appliances and even send energy back to the grid.

RANGE OPTIMISATION

Get an overview of your energy usage with the Range Assistant. It estimates how far you can go based on your current battery level in real time and factoring in driving style, road conditions and cabin climate settings. Check both minimum and maximum range estimates to plan with confidence.

PROTECTIVE SAFETY

The body of your New ES90 is designed to help provide 360° protection in the event of an accident. A high-strength steel safety cage surrounds everyone in the car, working with front, rear and side deformation zones to absorb and redistribute the force of an impact. For added security, the battery is shielded by its own safety cage.

PLUG AND CHARGE

Plug & Charge makes charging your electric Volvo at public stations simple. Just plug in and charge—no apps, cards, or tags needed. The station automatically recognizes your car and starts charging, with the process displayed on your car’s centre screen. Billing is automatic for added convenience.

RIDE COMFORT

While sedans normally sit low to the ground, the ES90 has large wheels and relatively high ground clearance to provide versatility for modern families.

The standard chassis with Frequency Selective Damping technology automatically adapts to the road for a controlled drive. The double wishbone suspension and integral rear link smooth corners and absorb bumps. Electronic support systems enhance traction.

MULTI-ZONE CLIMATE CONTROL

The driver, front passenger and two outer rear passengers can each set their own temperature and fan speed. Front passengers adjust theirs through the centre display. Rear passengers use a touch panel on the back of the centre console.

ERGONOMIC COMFORT WITH SMART FEATURES

The New EX30’s front seats deliver the same comfort and safety found in Volvo’s larger models, with an ergonomic design that helps reduce pressure and shoulder strain. The driver’s seat offers 12 power-operated adjustments for a personalised fit, while the slim seat profile maximises rear legroom. For added warmth, select from three heating levels on the centre display or set the Volvo EX30 app to heat the seats automatically whenever temperatures fall below 7°C.

USEFUL STORAGE

There’s room for small belongings in the centre console and the rear lounge armrest. You’ll find cupholders and a dedicated spot for phones, too.

The boot has 446 litres of space with the rear backrests up. Fold down rear backrests individually or together to get up to 1427 litres of cargo space.
