So, what is the Motability Scheme?

You can use your qualifying mobility allowance to lease a brand-new vehicle through the Scheme. Choose from some of the latest makes and models of cars and electric vehicles (EVs) to help give you freedom to move your way. Set off with peace of mind and the confidence to make every journey possible.

How it works

If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, you can swap all or part of it for a brand-new car. Different adaptations are also available to help you use your vehicle.

Who is eligible?

The scheme is available to anyone who receives one of these allowances:

  • Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Enhanced rate mobility part of Adult Disability Payment
  • Higher rate mobility component of Child Disability Payment
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Your all-inclusive package

Every car lease includes:

  • Insurance for up to three drivers
  • Servicing and maintenance

  • Tyre repair and replacement
