Apprenticeships

We offer a number of apprenticeships throughout the group where you’ll learn on the job whilst studying for your appropriate qualification through an accredited local college.

1-2-1 Meetings

The automotive industry is a busy one so it’s important to schedule regular 1-2-1 meeting with staff to have a two way conversation to discuss performance and objectives and give employees the opportunity to feedback.

This is the first port of call for a customer looking to make an aftersales booking and will get the ball rolling. The service advisor will prepare a quote for the required work and then liaise with the workshop to ensure they are fully briefed for the required work and see that it is delivered on time with the customer kept informed throughout. When the customer arrives to collect the car, the service advisor will talk through the work that has been carried out as well and pointing out the findings from any vehicle health check that has been carried out to highlight any work that may be required immediately, or in the future. The customer will settle the bill through the service advisor and the advisor will ensure the work has been carried out to satisfactory standards.

Our technicians are the one’s who work their magic in the heart of the cars whether that is simply maintaining the car for another year with it’s annual service, or carrying out any repairs. All technicians have served a full apprenticeship and will have attended further training direct with the manufacturer or cars that they are assigned to. We offer a number of apprenticeships each year – please submit your interest early on as places are limited and fill up quickly.

The classic role of the automotive industry – often seen with grinning over a handshake with their latest customer on a handover photo but there’s much more to the roll that the glory of a handover! Each sales executive manages a large database of existing customers as well as dealing with new enquiries coming into the business. They will nurture the leads from enquiry to handover to ensuring the customer is happy once they have been in the car for a number of weeks. Sales Executives also have to comply with many legislative requirements related to finance, GDPR, and manufacturer standards. This is a highly demanding but rewarding role for the right individual.
