World Champion hits the bullseye with Donalds Mazda

Donalds Mazda, on West End Road in Ipswich, has handed over the keys to a new Mazda CX-5 mid-size SUV to a very special customer - former Darts World Champion Keith Deller.

Keith lives in Ipswich and remains one of the youngest world champions in history. His most notable wins include the Embassy World Professional Darts Championship in 1983 and the League of Legends in 2009.

Following on from his worldwide darts success, Keith went on to manage two-time PDC World Champion Adrian Lewis and started his own darts management company, taking some of the younger players on the circuit under his wing.

Luke Hartgrove, Mazda Sales Manager at Donalds Ipswich, said, “It’s great to be able to hand over the Mazda CX-5 to a local legend and one of the greatest British world dart champions. The Mazda CX-5 is an impressive and highly capable car with a top quality, versatile interior with a commanding driving position and we are sure that Keith will love the car’s assured handling and spirited performance.”

The multi-award winning Mazda CX-5 mid-size SUV delivers the perfect balance of driving dynamics and efficiency and has a choice of ultra-efficient, low emission petrol and diesel SKYACTIV engines. It achieves fuel economy of up to 61.4mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 119g/km, meaning customers could pay as little as £30/year road tax.

The Mazda CX-5 features MZD-Connect, Mazda’s infotainment and connectivity system, which provides access to a range of features and applications*, including internet radio, Facebook and Twitter, integrated Bluetooth®, DAB radio and an integrated navigation system.

For further information on the latest Mazda models or to book a test drive of the Mazda CX-5, call Donalds Mazda on 01473 287 788, or visit the dealership on West End Road in Ipswich.
