In-line with the government announcement and subject to the final confirmation, we are scheduled to re-open our sales showrooms to the public on Monday April 12th.

Current Operation:

Despite the current lockdown, we can confirm that we remain open for aftersales and click-and-collect sales.

Aftersales
Our aftersales department will continue offering all services such as Routine Servicing, MOT, repairs and recalls. Capacity may be reduced during this period so please book early.  Pre-booking via phone or web is essential as we are unable to accept walk-in visits without appointments to our dealerships during the lockdown.

Sales
You can still purchase a car.  We can take you through every step of the process, despite our sales showrooms not being available for browsing.  The below infographic elaborates on this process.

In line with government guidance, we are expected to encourage compliance of the legal guidelines relating to COVID-19 and can refuse entry to visitors that do not obey.

We request your understanding with these measures and ask for patience with staff where necessary, who are operating in changed circumstances.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING OF FROM VISITORS

If you are looking to book a test drive, by pre-booking we are able to ensure your preferred car is fully prepared and sanitised prior to your visit.  For those looking to book maintenance work you can book in using one of the methods detailed on our 'Make a booking' page.

The current government requirement is 1 metre where two possible, however we're still practising the 2-metre rule internally.  Floor markings and the re-positioning of chairs and furniture will ensure you're able to converse clearly with a member of staff whilst at the same time adhering to the 2m rule.

From Friday 24th July all visitors are required to wear facemasks within our dealerships. If you are fall into one of the government approved exemption categories, please phone the dealership in advance of your visit to make them aware.

When you enter our dealerships you'll have the option of signing in for track and trace purposes via either scanning our unique Q-R code with your NHS Covid-19 app, or alternatively signing manually into our register.

Hand sanitation gel is available on arrival and we kindly request this is used prior to entering our showrooms.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PROTECT YOU

All desktop surfaces in our showroom are sanitised regularly throughout the day and recorded on a check list which is available to view at each dealership.  Whether you are visiting for a test drive or collecting a vehicle that has been in for maintenance, all touch points within the car will be fully sanitised by our valeting team with no other entry to the vehicle until you jump in the driving seat.  

From 24th September all retail staff were required to wear facemasks, this includes the automotive industry.  Upon visiting Donalds dealerships you'll observe our teams complying with this requirement.

All customer facing staff are set up with Perspex screens at their desks which guarantees a solid barrier between you and our staff. 

We regret that during your visit you will be unable to access the reading material usually found at our waiting areas and we are unable to offer beverages.
