BB - September 2017 - Bury St Edmunds

I and my partner are here in the UK for a brief visit? from Belgium. Yesterday my car, a Mazda Premacy, began to make a very strange rattling sound. Enough to cause me concern. I first looked on your website yesterday and found you have a garage in Ipswich which, being my home town, I contacted by phone. I explained the situation, saying also that Saturday 24th June we return to Antwerp in Belgium a driving journey of at least 6.5 hours not including the ferry. The man with whom I spoke could not have been more helpful and, after much searching online (my Premacy is LHD) said to bring it in this morning at 9AM. Early this afternoon he contacted me to say the car was ready. Luckily the problem was not drastic and he took the time and trouble to explain what had happened. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that everything was OK. Unfortunately I am unable to give you his name but can best describe him as red-headed with a beard. I would like to express my thanks to him through your offices. Although car repairs are never an experience we wish for he made it extremely bearable. Once again my thanks to him.

You are the first person to greet me when I bring my MX-5 for its service and your helpful attitude is much appreciated and is experienced by me from all the Mazda staff I have contact with. Steve, the mechanic, Drew, the valet and John on car cleaning. They were all helpful and nothing was to much trouble - for instance I did not know how to clean inside the roof chamber so Drew took the time to explain how to do it whilst Steve went to fetch the hoover and then cleaned that area - marvellous! Top marks to all of them.

The car is amazing. So smooth and a great drive.
Living where we do I do not want to use it as it will not stay so perfectly clean for long!
We had a lovely time in Melton Mowbray and went for a nice Italian meal in the evening. Was a good idea to break the journey home after the train journey.

Thank you so much for all your help. It is so much better dealing with a nice person rather than a pushy sales person. You were lovely with us both and we really appreciated that. I do hope Donalds appreciate what they have!

We live in a day and age where everyone seems very quick to complain and berate people, well I can take delight in the fact that I am not doing either! 

Having purchased a car from your company at the weekend, my partner and I received nothing short of exceptional service from your sales executive, Melvin Paul. From our initial enquiry by email, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a personalised video tour of the car followed by a courtesy call. The video was a huge deciding factor in our purchase and despite the heavy rain in which the video was filmed, Melvin was professional and knowledgable throughout. We swiftly came to view the car in the rain, so not ideal conditions but Melvin was on hand with umbrella’s - trying to help keep us as dry as possible! Sadly, the vehicle couldn’t be test driven on the day as the brakes were decided to be not adequate and needing replacement. Deciding that the car looked like what we were after, Melvin arranged for the car to be serviced, MOT’d and set to have to minor agreed details rectified.
Having dealt with him now several times throughout the week prior to the purchase, he was always exceptionally helpful, impeccably presented and polite. Upon collection of the car, despite turning up in his last hour of work on Saturday and a whole day early! He had checked over the vehicle and took us on a comprehensive test drive prior to us agreeing to purchase. With only one minor item to be addressed (a replacement rear badge) which is on back order from Ford, I can say that my partner and I are very happy with our purchase and would happily recommend the Donald’s groups to our friends and colleagues.

I’m sure you and your company are well aware of his positive attributes and will agree that he is a shining example of how car salesmen should be.

Just to give you an update on MY CAR quite frankly its awesome Ryan ! 
I love it, everything about it, is just perfect inside out – front and rear. 
The look of the car and drive is totally amazing, Mazda have truly exceled themselves and have truly done a good job on the interior and exterior, a well-rounded cleverly sexy put together car. The shape of the bonnet is my favourite along with the rear, love the soft top, and the wheels, it’s a great exciting car to drive, and is getting loads of looks and comments.

My wife and I recently purchased a Mini at your dealership; We wanted to feedback that we were very impressed with the service and communication we received from Chris Webb. I had been looking at Minis for a number of weeks and Chris was able to provide us with a written detailed description of the car, features and pictures within an hour. We travelled for two hours from Oxfordshire and we were not disappointed.  We think he is a great asset to the dealership and we will be using and recommending your dealership to friends and family.

I am writing to express my thanks to your staff when, on holiday in Suffolk i had a problem with my old Volvo V70 when the door over the petrol cap became locked and immovable.  I arrived on your premises last week, and explained the problem to reception desk.  Immediately a mechanic came out to the forecourt and diagnosed the problem and explained it very clearly.  He was most helpful and i thank him.

He then passed us back to the reception where an appointment was made for the work by on Thursday and Daniel arranged a life to Ipswich center and told us which bus to get for the return and also provided some very useful information about Ipswich and the area - all of this helped us to enjoy our holiday which could have been messed up.  Volvo's cannot go very far without petrol!  Excellent and outstanding service so again, many thanks to Daniel and other contributors!
